Liberation

I think that we’re all looking for the same thing. We don’t all realize that, and we don’t all call is the same thing, but what we want, I think, all comes down to one thing: liberation.

So what exactly is liberation? Well it’s enlightenment, salvation, submission, et cetera. It’s what Buddhists seek through meditation, atheists through independent thought, Muslims through prayer, Lutherans through faith, and me through knitting : þ It’s that ill-defined freedom at the other end of the Path. We can’t say for sure that’s there, but the Path keeps going so we keep walking.
